1/14/08 Happy new year! Lots more Football Outsiders comics over in the archive. Do I do anything other than football comics anymore, you ask? Hey, why don't you start your own comics website, then I'll go complain about what you don't post.

11/30/07 You thought I couldn't update the homepage twice in one month? Well then you spend too much time thinking about really stupid stuff. Two newest Football Outsiders comics: The woeful 49ers offense gets no help from Gil, and something about a volcano and a mullet..?

11/7/07 Topics of my football comics over the last month include guys with funny names, old guys possibly named Vinny, something or other about a handsome cartoonist and World Series tickets, a Charlie Brown rip-off and the return of the Wee! Side effects of these comics may include bladder malfunction and loss of will to live.

10/4/07 Oh how time flies when I don't get around to updating the site. Did you want some new football cartoons? Good, 'cause that's what you're gonna get. How about more nonsense on that spying scandal? Or what's wrong in Buffalo? Or what's even more wrong in New Orleans? Or who's insane in the N.F.L.? Will that tide you over for a few minutes? Good.

9/6/07 Three weeks, three more Football Outsiders comics: may include Crappy Cartoon Character Tryouts, the scoring prowess of Travis Henry and/or D&D Dorkage. BONUS: I also discovered I somehow missed putting one of my Outsiders comics from December 2004 on the site 'til now. It's a bit unclear how this happened.

8/15/07 Football season around the corner has awoken me from my long, lazy slumber. Here's my first comic of the season for Football Outsiders.

4/8/07 Redesigned the ol' homepage here. I know, I know...It's like puttin' a monkey in a new tuxedo: Awesome!

4/7/07 Ten more college comics posted, "Mental at the Margin" #s 101-106 and 107-110, finishing up posting work I did nearly 12 years ago. Gee, me behind? No, not at all.

I've been cartooning for nearly fifteen years and have created a wide variety of projects in that time. This site is an archive of all my work...and as long as I stay inspired, will continue to be updated. Here's some of what you'll find here:

Bitter Monkey: Feel the bitterness! Hopefully not appropriate for small children.
Football Outsiders comics: Were you hoping that Gil Thorp would ditch those losers at Milford High School and start hanging out with N.F.L. players and coaches instead? Why not? It's funny.
Better Comix: Do you think most of the stuff on the comics page is lame? Me too. The point of this project has been to combine elements of various Sunday comics to make them, well, better.
Mental at the Margin: My oldest comics, about a couple of Gen-X slackers. Contains characters with big square noses. (And If you think my drawing is bad now, now, just check out the College Years.)
Pantsman: A comic about a superhero whose power is, um, wearing pants.
Dot.Com: A strip I did while working for a computer contracting magazine. It features a contractor named Dorothy "Dot" Com (not my joke). Imagine "Helen, Sweetheart of the Internet", only, you know...funny.
Better B.C.: A spin-off of BetterComix, featuring the trainwreck that is Johnny Hart's "B.C."
Crossword puzzles: Yep, I've created a few crosswords in the past. Check 'em out!
